I have sold my Sony Playstation Portable on EBay, and as such before sending it to the buyer I had to restore the factory defaults. Having never read the manual & not wanting to open its sealed bag I simply had to have a good look around the menu's to find out how to do this. Here is how it's done:
1. Go to the Settings tab on your PSP
2. Go to System Settings, press X
3. Scroll down to Restore Default Settings & press X
4. Select Yes in the confirmation window & press X
This process will restart you PSP and when it comes back on you will once again have to go through the initial set up procedure you did the first time you turned it on.
